Boston Billiards was founded in 1972. When we first opened we were like every other billiard table company, repairing tables and selling an occasional new table. In 1975 Stephen Kelly came to the company and brought his love for antiques along with him. He convinced the owners to start buying older tables which he would restore for them to resell. The restoration was a secondary part of the business until Stephen bought the company in 1979. Slowly the antique billiard tables became more and more of the business focus. Today a visit to our showroom is like being in a museum. You will see one of the finest collections of antique American billiard tables in existence. You will also see some wonderful period billiard room accessories.

If antique billiard tables are not what you prefer we also carry several fine billiard table reproductions. These tables can be customized to your taste. You will be able to select the species of wood used to manufacture the table as well as the color stain applied to it.

We have a complete wood shop and can custom manufacture a billiard table to your specifications. Matching accessories such as cue racks, ball racks and chairs can also be made in our shop.

Many of our billiard tables have been photographed and appear in books and magazines. Some of our tables have been seen in Hollywood movies. We were recently featured on NECN Dream House and on PBS This Old House. Our customer list includes well known people in the business, political, sports and financial world. We would like the opportunity to add your name to our customer list.

You will of course find all of the playing accessories needed to complete your billiard room including ball sets, cue sticks, triangles, chalk and lighting.
